FerriLOK 3535™: Proprietary Chemical Polishing Compound for Steel and Cast Iron

Atlantic FerriLOK™ 3535 is a proprietary blend of liquid chemical polishing compounds. Atlantic FerriLOK™3535 was specifically formulated to provide highly effective chemical polishing, conversion, and removal of excess oxides and unwanted salts and particles from post-quench QPQ ferrous metal and most stainless steel surfaces. The FerriLOK™ Process also improves part appearance and surface smoothness with a deeper and more uniform black color. Atlantic FerriLOK™ 3535 is formulated to decrease or eliminate manual polishing and sand/bead blasting of QPQ processed parts, reducing total QPQ process time by up to and in many cases over 50% and total labor cost by up to and in many cases over 80%. Rejects due to salt contamination and/or blast media contamination have seen a reduction of over 95% of current levels, in most cases, when properly applied.

Atlantic FerriLOK 5050:  Activation Oil and Grain Sealer

Atlantic FerriLOK™ 5050 was developed to seal the surface grain and halt the oxidation of steels after QPC Quench as Step 2 of a three-step chemical polish and corrosion prevention process.  After Atlantic FerriLOK™ 3535 application and rinse, Atlantic FerriLOK™ 5050 would be applied to dramatically increase corrosion protection and salt spray results on ferrous alloys.  Due to the unique chemical compounds in the formula, Atlantic FerriLOK™ 5050 will impart a micro-thin film that bonds to the metals surface making ferrous alloys unable to except further oxygen, will seal the metal grain, and will stop corrosion from beginning.  Residues of Atlantic FerriLOK™ 5050 are compatible with most conventional oil-based lubricants and process fluids.  Atlantic FerriLOK™ 5050 may be applied in a dip system (preferred, optimal) or once-thru spraying (acceptable with complete coverage). 

FerriLOK 8585: Chemical Oxide Seal and Long-Term Corrosion Inhibitor for QPQ and Ferritic Nitrocarburized Treated Ferrous Metal Surfaces

FerriLOK™ 8585 is a specialty oxide preventative developed to dramatically improve salt spray and humidity resistance on QPQ treated ferrous substrates.  FerriLOK™ 8585 is a unique iron oxide inhibitor based on a silicone-free inorganic-organic water proofing complex that is highly polar and forms an excellent hydrophobic bond to QPQ and Ferritic Nitrocarburized ferrous surfaces. This product will provide additional lubricity to phosphated surfaces. FerriLOK™ 8585 can be used for long-term indoor and short term covered outdoor storage applications with salt spray results approaching and often exceeding 600-hours and in many cases 1,000-hours on QPQ treated parts.  FerriLOK™ 8585 seals the coating pores and deposits a thin, transparent film that will not interfere with machined tolerances and has low moisture transmission, even when in contact with water and salt solutions. This pliable film will not crack or age harden. FerriLOK™ 8585 has a low viscosity, which provides excellent penetration and drainage. Also meets the requirements for MIL-PRF-16173E.  FerriLOK™ 8585 is the final chemical step in the FerriLOK™ process.

Atlantic Kleen 967AER:  Concentrated Alkaline Immersion, Soak and Ultrasonic Cleaner for Carbon Based Automotive, Diesel Engine, Production Baking, and Locomotive Soils

Atlantic Kleen 967AER is an alkaline liquid multi-metal safe heavy-duty cleaner for removing very heavy deposits of carbon, greases, oils, waxes, and other soils from aluminum, steel, cast iron, tin-plate, aluminized steel, and most other metals. Atlantic Kleen 967AER is excellent on heavy baked on carbon deposits typically found in transportation and baking pan re-manufacturing facilities. Atlantic Kleen 967AER reduces the reliance on Hazardous Air Pollutants found in most carbon removal operations.  Non-corrosive Atlantic Kleen 967AER runs at a more moderate pH compared to most carbon penetrants, and is formulated to dissolve and ‘lift’ the soils from the metal substrate to allow for easy skimming and removal of oils and greases. Atlantic Kleen 967AER produces extremely efficient surface tension reduction allowing the industrial detergent to penetrate into small openings.  Product contains in-process flash rust inhibitors.

Atlantic Solv FSK2: Water Based, Water Soluble Detergent to Replace Mineral Spirits

Atlantic Solv FSK2 is a select blend of water-soluble solvents and detergents designed for use in dip type baskets, agitated dunk machines, and low-pressure recirculating spray cleaning operations.  Atlantic Solv FSK2 is safe on virtually all types of metal parts, most plastics, and nylon.  Atlantic Solv FSK2 effectively removes heavy soils and particle soils such as grease, uncured paint, oil, wax, carbon residue and metal fines.  Atlantic Solv FSK2 upon drying leaves an almost invisible rust protecting film which provides limited corrosion protection for indoor storage of cleaned parts. Atlantic Solv FSK2 is an outstanding replacement to Safety-Kleen’s standard solvent parts washer blend, without the associated flash point. The Atlantic Solv FSK2 residue easily rinses and mixes into down-stream alkaline and neutral cleaners and alkaline rust inhibitor systems to perform as a cleaning booster (instead of a tramp oil or soil like mineral spirits).

Atlantic PREP ZrP-LT: Detergent Zirconium Phosphate Hybrid

Atlantic PREP ZrP-LT is a recirculating spray nanotechnology zirconium phosphate hybrid coating formulated for outstanding corrosion inhibition and superior paint adhesion on metal surfaces. The coating contains a blend of organic and inorganic compounds which naturally bond with ferrous and most non-ferrous metals. The product provides a visual indication of coating without the traditional use of high-phosphorus compounds or metals such as molybdenum, vanadium, nickel, or zinc. Atlantic PREP ZrP-LT provides superior paint adhesion and corrosion resistance to the applied paint finish over traditional iron phosphate coatings. Atlantic PREP ZrP-LT does not contain regulated heavy metals, and is acceptable for almost any waste treatment facility or regional POTW. Atlantic PREP ZrP-LT is an excellent replacement to traditional high phosphorus-based coatings when phosphate discharges are regulated.

Atlantic Kote 783AS:  Phosphate-Free Zirconium Pretreatment for Outstanding Coating Adhesion and Corrosion Resistance on Steel, Galvanized, and Aluminum Substrates

Atlantic Kote 783AS is a phosphate-free clear nanotechnology zirconium pretreatment formulated for both outstanding corrosion inhibition, passivation, and superior coating adhesion on ferrous metals, aluminum, and galvanized substrates.  The tightly bound coating contains a blend of organic and inorganic compounds which naturally and permanently bond with clean metal without changing the outward appearance and brightness of the substrate.  In many cases, salt spray results and impact resistance can as much as double over traditional iron phosphate coatings without the need for heat or the occurrence of sludge. Atlantic Kote 783AS provides superior coating adhesion and corrosion resistance to the applied paint finish over traditional phosphoric acid formulations.  Atlantic Kote 783AS seeks out and fills any voids in the primary coating. Atlantic Kote 783AS does not contain regulated heavy metals, and is acceptable for almost any waste treatment facility or regional POTW.

Atlantic Cool 710EP

Atlantic Cool 710EP is a premium grade, semi-synthetic metalworking fluid containing moderate oil content and industry proven bio-stability. Atlantic Cool 710EP was developed with extreme pressure (EP) additives for severe machining and cutting applications. The products unique composition produces defoaming dilutions that are stable and protect from corrosion in both hard and soft waters. While containing no biocides, the product is found to be extremely bio-resistant, allowing fluid to resist foaling even in long periods of system downtime. Product is not additive dependent and designed for both ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Atlantic Cool 710EP was developed to replace nationally know metal working coolants at a user acceptable cost. Product concentrate is completely stable in concentrate and dilution and has excellent clarity even though it contains oil.

Atlantic Stryp nMP-2 is an alkaline liquid multi-metal safe heavy duty paint stripper and cleaner for removing very heavy deposits of liquid and powder paint, e-coat, urethanes, epoxy, and other coatings and soils from aluminum, steel, tin-plate, aluminized steel, and other ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Atlantic Stryp nMP-2 is excellent on base coat and primer paints typically found in the transportation remanufacturing and wheel manufacturing facilities. Atlantic Stryp nMP-2 reduces the reliance on Hazardous Air Pollutants found in most paint and carbon removal operations. Atlantic Stryp nMP-2 is formulated to dissolve and/or ‘lift’ the paints and soils from the metal substrate. Atlantic Stryp nMP-2 can dramatically the time, labor, and expensive typically associated in plastic and media bead blast operations removing tenacious paint and residual carbon and oils. Atlantic Stryp nMP-2 can strip difficult-to-remove coating systems in less than 30-minutes @ 170°F in most cases.

Atlantic Phos 490F2:  Unique Immersion Quad-Metal Zinc Manganese Phosphate that Provides Outstanding Uncoated and Unoiled Salt Spray Results

Atlantic Phos 490F2 is a unique concentrated immersion and flood quad-metal zinc manganese phosphating compound.  It produces a fine, dense, crystalline coating on ferrous metal and zinc die-castings.  Atlantic Phos 490F2 is ideal where a coating to reduce severe friction is desired to prevent galling, scoring or other undesirable part on part wear while parts are being conditioned for continuous moving contact. 

Atlantic Phos 490F2 is a concentrated blend of acidic acid salts, activators, and crystal modifiers.  Atlantic Phos 490F2 is a quad-metal hybrid solution containing manganese and proprietary components to enhance product performance on wear surfaces.  Atlantic Phos 490F2 can be applied to any ferrous metal component, including threaded components, valves, fasteners, tubes, pipes, subsea parts, connectors, and other components.  Atlantic Phos 490F2 creates a superior bonding surface for industrial finishes, and provides outstanding corrosion resistance under paint, oil, wax, and other industrial finishes or break-in oils. Atlantic Phos 490F2 works by nucleating the growth of phosphate crystals without the build-up of excess free iron, resulting in a dark gray to black zinc phosphate crystalline structure. Provides a coating weight of 500 to 3000-mg/ft2  (5.4 to 32.3 grams per meter squared). Atlantic Phos 490F2 performance will meet or exceed military specification: DOD-P-16232, Type Z, A-A-59267 Type Z, Type M MIL-P-50002 Type Z, and Type M TT-C-490F Type 1 Class 1.
