Industrial & Commercial Biocides

ASCC’s formulated biocides and biostats were created to eliminate organisms and microorganisms for industrial and commercial applications. Atlantic’s bromine-containing, hydrogen peroxide-based, and chlorine-based oxidizing biocides are effective in dissolving biofilms at a lower concentration creating an ideal environment for pipe treatment and water hygiene. Non-oxidizing biocide formulations work to break down existing organisms’ cell walls and halt future reproduction and respiration. ASCC’s supplied biocides are vendor labeled and EPA approved.

OXIDIZING BIOCIDES: BROMINE BASED

BCDMH: Tablet biocide with 92.5% active bromo-chloro dimethyl hydantoin.
Bromine Chloride liquid: 18% stabilized bromine actives. Product competes directly against Nalco’s Stabrex™ with an EPA approved bio-film claim.
Sodium Bromide: Stabilized solution of 9.23% active sodium bromide.
Sodium Hypochlorite: 6.36% active solution of sodium hypochlorite.
Chlorinated Isocyanurate w/NaBr: Granules with 57% halogen as chlorine (Cl2) and tablets with 83% halogen as chlorine (Cl2).
DBDMH: Granules with 99.4% active dibromo dimethyl hydantoin.
Sodium Bromide liquid: Liquid with 40% active sodium bromide.
Sodium Bromide powder: 99% active powder; Dissolved on-site in a salt brine maker tank.

OXIDIZING BIOCIDES: HYDROGEN PEROXIDE BASED

Hydrogen Peroxide, 32%: 32.0% active (Available in drum packaging only)
Hydrogen Peroxide, 6.9%: 6.9% active, Non-hazardous non-regulated freight

OXIDIZING BIOCIDES: CHLORINE BASED

Sodium Chlorite: Liquids with 7.5% and 25% actives; for on-site generation of chlorine dioxide.
Sodium Hypochlorite: Liquid with 12.5% chlorine actives.
Chlorinated Isocyanurate, Gran Granules with 56% halogen as chlorine (Cl2).
Chlorinated Isocyanurate, Tab Tablets with 90% halogen as chlorine (Cl2).

NON-OXIDIZING BIOCIDES:

  • PCMC Liquid PCMC containing water conditioner for metal working operations.
  • ADD CC-125 Biostatic coolant conditioner containing 2(Butylamino)ethanol for pH and alkalinity control
  • DCHA Specialty amine based coolant bio-static additive for pH and alkalinity control.
  • ADD CC-300 Coolant conditioner containing 2,2’2”-(hexahydro-1,3,5-triazine-1,3,5-triyl)triethanol and Pyridine-2-thiol 1-oxide, sodium salt
  • Bronopol: Liquid with 10% 2-bromo-2 nitro-1,3 propanediol actives.
  • PCMX Liquid PCMX containing water conditioner for sumps and wash operations.
  • Catalyzed Hydroperoxide: Two products; one is a 2-part liquid, the other a one package powder. EPA registered uses include Bio-Film Removal.
  • DBNPA: Liquids with 5% & 20% DBNPA actives. Slowly soluble tablets1 with 40% DBNPA actives.
  • Sodium dimethyldithiocarbamate 9.0% and 30% actives typically used in metal precipitation as a chelate breaker and biocide
  • Disodium cyanodithioimidocarbamate:8.75%, 17.5%, and 35% active solutions typically used in metal precipitation as a chelate breaker and biocide
  • Potassium dimethyldithiocarbamate: 50% active solutions typically used in metal precipitation as a chelate breaker and biocide
  • Dodecylguanidine Hydrochloride: 35% DGH (Dodecylguanidine Hydrochloride) actives.
  • Glutaraldehyde: Liquids with 4%, 15%, and 45% glutaraldehyde actives.
  • Glutaraldehyde & ADBAC Quat: Liquid blends; 14% glutaraldehyde with 2.5% QUAT and 42% glutaraldehyde with 7.5% QUAT.
  • Isothiazolinone: Liquid blend with 1.5% isothiazolinone actives: Sold under the name Atlantic BioTreat ISO.
  • Isothiazolinone & Bronopol: Liquid blend with 1.13% isothiazolinone and 5.1% bronopol.
  • Poly[oxyethylene(dimethyliminio)ethylene-(dimethliminio)ethylene dichloride]: Liquid blends of 10%, 15%, and 30% active biocide.
  • Didecyl dimethyl ammonium chloride: Liquids with 10%, 20%, and 50% active quaternary ammonium compounds.
  • Terbuthylazine: 2-(tert-butylamino)-4-chloro-6-(ethylamino)-S-triazine emulsion with 4.0% biocide actives.
  • THPS: Liquids with 20% and 35% active tetrakishydroxymethyl phosphonium sulfate actives. Sold under a Tolcide® PS label.
  • Tris(Hydroxymethyl) Nitromethane: Liquid with 25% biocide actives.
